Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. ginger
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over margarine.
    Add brown sugar, molasses, egg and flour sifted with salt, baking powder, soda, ginger and cinnamon.
    Beat until smooth.
    Bake in greased 8-inch square pan in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Top with warm Lemon Sauce.
