Rhubarb Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. diced rhubarb
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks, well beaten
    1/4 c. light cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and add rhubarb and 1 cup of sugar.
    Cook slowly until rhubarb is tender.
    Combine 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, light cream and salt.
    Add to rhubarb and cook until thick. Cool; pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue and brown.
