Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. corn oil or cooking oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped fine
6 cloves garlic, chopped fine
2 c. tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
2 c. chili beans or 1 can
1/3 c. water
Preparation

Melt shortening in skillet; add onion and garlic.
Cook until clear, not brown.
Add ground beef and brown slightly.
Add remaining ingredients, except chili beans.
Cook slowly for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add chili beans and continue to cook for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
