Fresh Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. lemon juice (4 to 5 lemons)
    1/2 c. sugar (superfine best)
    8 c. water
Preparation
    Mix sugar with 1 cup hot water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add lemon juice and 7 cups cold water.
    Stir.
    Chill.
    Serve in a glass pitcher with ice, fresh lemon slices and a sprig of mint. Makes 2 quarts.
