Kartoffel Klosse(Potato Dumplings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets.
    Peel and rice.
    Spread on waxed paper to cool and dry.
    Place in large bowl and add other ingredients.
    Work together and knead well.
    Roll into small balls and drop into salted water (boiling).
    Cook until done.
    Usually when dumplings rise to the top of the water, they are done.
    Makes 6 servings.
