Red Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
pinch of salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. cocoa, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water*
red food coloring
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

*Do this at the beginning, so it will cool.
Also to be added to cake mix last.
Add the red food coloring to the chocolate mixture.
