Amish Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. soft breadcrumbs
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine milk and butter; stir until butter is melted.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and cinnamon; beat at medium speed of electric mixer for 1 minute.
    Stir in milk mixture.
    Place breadcrumbs in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole; sprinkle with raisins.
    Add milk mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until set.
    Serve warm.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
