Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. green tomatoes
    4 medium onions, sliced
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    8 c. white vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1/4 c. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. ground turmeric
Preparation
    Core tomatoes and slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Measure 16 cups. Combine tomatoes, onions and green peppers.
    Set aside.
