Fudge Cake(Doris' Campout Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (not sifted)
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk (or 1/2 c. milk and 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Put sugar and flour into a large mixing bowl.
Then put water, shortening, cocoa and margarine into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour over dry ingredients and mix.
Then add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
