Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin, cut into 3 x 1/2-inch strips
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed bouillon or broth
    3 Tbsp. tomato juice
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. sherry
    hot cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
    Coat beef with mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown meat in shortening in large frypan or Dutch oven.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except sour cream, sherry and rice.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream and sherry; heat through, but do not boil.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Makes 4 servings.
