Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, separated
    3 c. fresh rhubarb
Preparation
    Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar with flour, salt, butter and egg yolks.
    Beat well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, adding 1/2 cup sugar.
    Fold into egg yolk mixture; fold in rhubarb.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake in preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 40 to 50 minutes.
