Green Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box lime jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water or juice from 1 regular can crushed pineapple (set pineapple aside to use water; mix according to directions on package)
    1 small container Cool Whip
    2 to 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 small bottle maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    marshmallows (if you wish)
Preparation
    Let chill in refrigerator until mixture starts to jell. Remove and add drained, crushed pineapple, 1 small container of Cool Whip, 2 to 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 small bottle of maraschino cherries and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
    Mix thoroughly. Add marshmallows, if you wish.
    Put back in refrigerator and jell until ready to serve.
