Roast Beef, Carrots, Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef roast
    1 lb. carrots
    6 large potatoes
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. grease
    1 medium onion
    1 qt. water
Preparation
    Put 1/2 cup grease in a large fryer.
    Roll roast in flour; put in fryer.
    Cover with lid.
    Cook medium until brown.
    In a big boiler, brown 1 cup flour; pour water in boiler and put roast in gravy.
    Add carrots, potatoes and chopped onion.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook until tender.
