Iced Almonds - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. blanched whole almonds, pecan halves, walnut halves or cashews
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Line baking sheet with foil; butter the foil.
In heavy 8-inch skillet, combine nuts, sugar and margarine.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly 9 minutes or until sugar melts and turns a rich brown color.
Remove from heat.
Spread mixture onto prepared baking sheet.
Cool completely.
Break into clusters. Store tightly covered.
