Meat Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    6 slices bread
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    9 thin onion slices
Preparation
    Melt fat in skillet; add onions.
    Saute until golden brown. Crumble bread into mixing bowl; add milk.
    Let stand until bread is moist.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add onion, green pepper and salt. Add meat; mix well.
    Pile mixture lightly into greased 2 1/2-inch muffin pans.
    Top each with thin onion slice.
    Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) until nicely browned, about 30 minutes.
