Quick And Hearty Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sliced hot links or smoked sausage
1 can diced tomatoes with green peppers and onions
1 can chicken broth
1 c. uncooked instant rice
1 can whole kernel gold and white corn, drained
Preparation

Cook sausage in large saucepan, about 4 minutes, drain. Stir in tomatoes, broth and 1/2 cup water; bring to boil.
Stir in corn and rice, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with cornbread or biscuits, if desired.
