Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. pkg. light brown sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar.
    Gradually add white sugar and continue creaming.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour and milk to cream mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Blend well.
    Pour batter into a tube pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
