Aunt Allie'S Apricot Jello Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. apricot jello (3 oz.)
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. apricot nectar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 (10 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Combine jello
    and
    water
    in
    large bowl.
    Add apricot nectar and mix well.
    Pour 1/2 inch layer of this mixture into a
    ring mold.
    Decorate alternately with mandarin oranges and cherries. Place
    in refrigerator and let set (1 hour).
    Place bowl containing
    remaining mixture in fridge until mixture is partially set.
    Remove
    from refrigerator and add 1/2 cup sour cream.
    Beat with
    rotary
    beater.
    Add remaining oranges and combine thoroughly.
    Pour into mold and refrigerate to set.
