Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 large eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients in kettle.
    Cook over direct heat until thick and smooth.
    Beat egg yolks and add to milk mixture. Boil 2 minutes.
    Add butter and vanilla; cool. (May add bananas, coconut, etc.).
