Shrimp And Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large yellow onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped sweet green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 lb. hot sausage
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 c. rice
2 c. tomato juice
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. leaf savory, crumpled
1/2 tsp. red pepper sauce
1 lb. shrimp
1/2 c. chopped green onion
chopped parsley
Preparation

Saute onion, green pepper, celery and sausage in margarine in large pan for 5 minutes.
Add rice and cook, stirring for one minute.
Add tomato juice, chicken broth, salt, savory and pepper sauce.
Bring to boil, then simmer until rice is almost done (about 10 minutes).
Add shrimp and green onions until rice is done.
Sprinkle with parsley or cilantro and serve.
