Old Fashion Beef Barley Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. ground meat
3 medium, chopped onions
3 medium, sliced potatoes
3 celery stalks, diced
3 medium carrots, diced
2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
16 oz. can whole corn
16 oz. can peas
16 oz. can French-cut string beans
2/3 c. pearl barley
6 c. water
3 Tbsp. beef bouillon granules
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
2 bay leaves
Preparation

Brown meat with onions.
In large pan, put in browned meat with onions, water, potatoes, celery, carrots, tomatoes, barley and spices.
Simmer 45 to 60 minutes.
Add corn, peas and string beans; simmer 10 more minutes.
Add all liquids from the cans of vegetables.
