Banana Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    3 (3 oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding
    5 c. milk
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 large (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
    2 or 3 bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Place vanilla wafers (except 1/2 cup finely crushed) in 9 x 13-inch dish, then set aside.
    Combine pudding and milk; beat 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add sour cream and half of the Cool Whip; mix well. Place half pudding over wafers and smooth around.
    Slice bananas over pudding, then cover with remaining pudding; smooth, then cover with remaining Cool Whip.
    Smooth, then sprinkle finely crushed vanilla wafers over top.
    Keep in refrigerator.
