Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. sugar plus 1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon, mixed well
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar, then add eggs and mix until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar into second bowl.
    Gradually stir into sugar mixture until well mixed.
    Refrigerate dough for 20 to 30 minutes.
