Maraschino Cherry Meringue Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar until stiff and glossy peaks form and all sugar is dissolved.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto banana or other flavored pudding.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
    Top each spoonful with 1/2 of a maraschino cherry.
