Caramelitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bags caramels
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 c. butter
    2 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels and evaporated milk; mix with hands
    all other ingredients except chips. Put half of mix in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle chips on top, then pour caramels over chips.
    Put rest of mix on top and bake until brown at 350\u00b0.
