Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 c. grated or chopped pears
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Add sugar to
    pears,
    mix
    and\tlet
    stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Sift
    dry
    ingredients
    together and add Wesson oil, eggs (beaten
    well)
    and vanilla.
    Mix all together well. Add chopped nuts and
    raisins.\tPreheat
    oven to 350\u00b0.\tBake 1 hour in greased and floured tube pan.
