Angel Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add 1 cup sugar a little at a time, beating after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Continue beating until a mixture holds soft peaks.
Mix cracker crumbs and 1 cup pecans.
Fold into meringue mixture.
Pour into pie plate to form shell.
Pull up mixture into peaks around edges of plate.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool thoroughly.
