Raisin Crisscross Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 c. seeded raisins
    grated peel and juice of 1 orange and 2 lemons
    3/4 c. broken California walnuts
    1 recipe plain pastry
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, water, raisins, grated peel and fruit juice.
    Cook over low heat until thick.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into 9-inch lined pie pan.
    Make lattice top cust; flute edge. Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
