Granny Perryman'S Old Timey Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. milk
    1 large egg
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream together Crisco, sugar and egg.
    Next, add milk, mixing in well.
    In a separate bowl, mix baking powder and flour.
    Add this combination to the first.
    Add flavoring and mix well.
    Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters to form different shapes or roll into small balls and flatten on cookie pan with a fork.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned.
