Spiced Corned Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. corned beef (brisket or round)
    water to cover
    1 medium onion
    2 ribs celery, cut in half
    1/2 orange, sliced
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1 tsp. dill seed
    1 bay leaf
    6 whole cloves
    1 cinnamon stick
    2 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients; cover and simmer 3 to 4 hours, allowing 1 hour per pound of meat.
