Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    12 saltine crackers, finely crushed
    20 dates, pitted and chopped
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. almond extract
    maraschino cherries
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff; beat in sugar and baking powder. Combine saltines, dates, almond extract and pecans; fold in egg whites.
    Pour into 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
    Serves 8.
