Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

a handful ground cornmeal
slight handful flour
generous pinch soda
pinch of salt
buttermilk (to make a medium-thick batter)
Preparation

Sift together cornmeal, flour, soda and salt; add buttermilk. Generously grease skillet with butter or margarine and place in hot oven until skillet is hot.
Sprinkle bottom of skillet with cornmeal and pour in batter.
Cook at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
Remove from oven and turn out on plate to cool or serve hot.
This is good eaten in a glass of milk.
