Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    8 oz. pkg. dates
    8 oz. pkg. coconut
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine butter, dates, coconut and sugar.
    Cook over medium heat for 7 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and nuts.
    Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 36.
