Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 carrot, grated
    1 pepper, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Cover the shredded cabbage with water.
    Add salt.
    Let stand one hour.
    Boil together vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Let boil one minute.
    Let stand until lukewarm. Squeeze water completely out of cabbage.
    Combine cabbage, carrot and pepper.
    Pour liquid mixture over all.
    Mix well.
    Place in containers and freeze.
