Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses (Brer Rabbit light)
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together; cream shortening, sugar and molasses.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Make small balls; roll in white sugar.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 13 minutes.
    They will flatten and crack like boughten gingersnaps.
    Let rest on cookie sheet a few minutes after removing from oven.
    Place on rack or pan to cool.
