Swedish Rye Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. rye flour
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    1 c. molasses (Grandma's)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    6 to 8 c. white flour
Preparation
    Mix rye flour with hot water and molasses.
    Add yeast to warm water.
    Mix rye flour, water and molasses mixture with yeast and shortening.
    Add flour.
    Knead well.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.
    Shape into 3 loaves.
    Let rise again. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
