Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce
    1 cucumber, sliced thin
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 box frozen peas
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer first 4 ingredients in a casserole dish.
    Mix sugar and mayonnaise together and spread over the top of the peas.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
    Toss, then serve.
