Fresh Corn Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3 c. fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears fresh corn)
    2 Tbsp. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
    Mix well.
    Combine egg, corn, whipping cream and butter.
    Mix well and stir in dry ingredients.
    Drop mixture by tablespoons into hot oil (375\u00b0).
    Cook until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve hot.
    Yields about 2 dozen.
