Lemon Extract Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 oz. lemon extract
    4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    2 c. raisins
    4 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, two at a time, and beat.
    Add flour and baking powder and mix good.
    Add raisins, cherries, pineapple and pecans.
    Mix and add lemon extract.
    Bake in angel food pan that has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour before opening oven, then test for doneness.
    Keeps well.
