Fruit Fondue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh strawberries or other fruit
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. sweet butter
    1/2 c. light cream
    2 Tbsp. light rum
    1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Clean strawberries or other fruit and arrange on a platter. Combine sugar, butter and light cream in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes or until thickened.
    Remove from the heat. Add rum after sauce sits 3 to 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Provide sauce for dipping the fruit.
