Potato And Carrot Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. carrots
    4 c. potatoes
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. melted shortening
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. soda
    4 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Mix
    vegetables.
    Add\tto
    dry
    ingredients.
    Makes
    3 (2-pound) cans.
    Serves 60.
    Put in 2-pound coffee cans; leave lid off.
    Cook
    in
    a water bath for 1 hour.
    Cool on a rack, then store in a cool place, or freeze for longer life.
    Serve with a hard sauce.
