Layered Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, slightly drained
    1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) box white or yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
    2 sticks margarine
Preparation
    Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and spread the cherry pie filling evenly in pan.
    Spread pineapple over pie filling and sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple.
    Thinly slice margarine and place over nuts.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
