1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. fresh ripe figs, peeled and chopped fine or mashed, or fig jam
Preparation

Preheat the
oven
to
350\u00b0.
Grease
and
flour
a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl, then beat in the sugar and salt.
Add the oil and beat again.
