Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground cooked ham
3/4 c. uncooked oats
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 c. pineapple juice
1 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
20 whole cloves
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well.
Shape into balls. Chill.
In large frypan lightly brown ham balls in the shortening. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly. Pour over ham balls.
Cover with lid.
Cook on medium for about 1 hour.
