Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. applesauce
4 tsp. soda
4 tsp. allspice
4 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
3 eggs
4 c. flour
1 box raisins
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. strawberry or cherry preserves (mixed fruits if you prefer)

Preparation

Heat applesauce and spices to boil.
Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs, added one at a time.
Add flour and applesauce. Add other ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
