Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    40 to 50 crushed vanilla wafers
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick melted butter
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Mix the vanilla wafers, 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter and pat into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Reserve a few crumbs for top.
    Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon lemon juice well.
    Pour over crust.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until firm on top (approximately 15 minutes).
    Mix jello, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 5 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups water.
    Cook and cool.
    Add 1 quart fresh strawberries.
    Pour over cooled cheese layer.
    Put Cool Whip over all.
    Top with crumbs.
    Chill a few hours before serving.
