Hog-Heaven Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. pork sausage (\"hot\")
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, slivered
    1 (10 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (13 oz.) can tomatoes and chilies
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans water
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is crumbly. Drain off grease. Place mixture in 8-quart pot. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring often, then simmer for 3 hours. Add more water as moisture cooks down.
    Serve topped with grated Cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Serves 12.
