Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. celery, cubed
1 medium potato, cubed
1/4 c. carrot, cubed
12 oz. milk
salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
-
Cover celery with water.
Boil 12 minutes, add potato and carrot and boil 15 more minutes.
Add milk and butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with crackers.
Do not drain water, vitamins and minerals are in the water.
A favorite during the Great Depression 1929-36.
