Apple Tapioca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 1/2 c. milk
    6 big Tbsp. tapioca
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    about 6 apples, peeled and diced
    sugar and nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients together in a saucepan and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Cook about 6 to 8 minutes.
    Stir constantly. Bring to boil; add vanilla.
    Put apples in a buttered baking dish (3-quart); sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.
    Pour mixture over apples.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour until brown on top.
