Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
Preparation

Boil and cool 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup water.
Pour into ungreased baking pan.
Combine the remaining ingredients.
Beat all together.
Drop by teaspoons on sugar and water in pan. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Bake until cake floats away from sides of pan.
Cool until lukewarm.
Serve with whipped cream. (Nuts and whipped cream may be omitted.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
